CERRO CABRAS TREKKING

Cerro Cabras is an iconic peak of the Mendoza foothills, located in the department of Luján de Cuyo, specifically in the Potrerillos area. It is known for being the highest point of the Southern Cacheuta Range and for offering some of the most complete panoramic views in the region. Regarding its location and how to get there, it is situated about 75 km southwest of Mendoza City at an elevation of 2,160 meters above sea level. It is a popular destination for moderate-difficulty hikes, featuring winding trails that cross through native flora and allow for wildlife sightings on the way to the summit. We depart from Mendoza City toward the town of Potrerillos; we will arrive at a rest area located in front of the river and just a few meters from the lake, with an impressive view to enjoy a trek along mountain trails accompanied by specialized guides responsible for safety and enjoyment. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing, sneakers or trekking shoes, warm layers, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
